Jane Narlee Jane Narlee – Assistant Project Manager

I was raised in Central New York surrounded by old deciduous forests that kindled curiosity about connections, ignited my passion for nature and stoked my desire to make a difference. Since moving to Maryland in 2000 I have worked within the Accounting and Commercial Real Estate communities utilizing my skills to promote the streamlining and spearheading of processes, procedures and projects. Although I enjoyed those industries I was eager to incorporate my passion for nature and the environment into my daily work experience. I became familiar with the greening of the roof tops in DC and was over the moon about the movement. I made a phone call to Michael Furbish to discuss the greening potential of a few DC properties and began my new hobby as a Furbish Company stalker; following the company on social media and watching their product lines grow through the website, I was enamored! The forward-thinking culture and positive impact of the work was refreshing and I knew I wanted to be part of the team. Years later, the seeds planted finally took root and here I am! Now I can unleash my passion into my work and work with my passion for green roofs! Outside the office you can find me in “Narleeville” with my husband of 19 years, three children (ages 22, 18 and 15), our Canine American, Muttilda and our Feline American, Tuna Noodle Catterole.

Favorite Quote: “There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more.” – Lord Byron
