When I came to Furbish in 2014, I was looking for an opportunity that I could get excited about, to learn and grow professionally and to make difference. With nearly 30 years of experience in all aspects of office administration, a positive and stimulating work environment was imperative to keep me engaged and inspired. I have a strong background in the construction industry as well as sales support for equipment manufacturers and project administration for a roller coaster company. What sets me apart from other administrative professionals is that I firmly believe that it isn’t enough to just do the paperwork; to be truly efficient, you must know the work behind it. For each company, I’ve taken it upon myself to learn about what the company does so that I can be more efficient and the flow of information more organized according to the company’s needs. This not only allows me to be a more valuable asset but also makes my work more interesting. My thirst for knowledge and sense of adventure often lands me in unchartered territory at Furbish, but if I learn from the experience then it was worth the effort (usually ). I enjoy live music, dancing, roller coasters, warm weather, and sunshine… definitely sunshine! I have 2 amazing children (daughter & son), the most supportive parents and a grandson that simply makes the world a better place. Life is good!
