PECO Building

The PECO Building is in Center City Philadelphia, PA. Consisting of both and intensive green roofs ranging from 8-36” in depth, this rooftop both reduces the stormwater runoff for the building by more than 70% and provides a terrace space for employees to enjoy. Spanning just over one acre in size, this large-scale green roof was one of the first in the city, setting a precedent for many roofs to follow.
