Our Team

I am thrilled to be part of the Furbish team as the HR/Payroll Manager. I am a native Marylander who was born and raised in Hampden, in Baltimore City. I was lucky enough spend a good bit of my childhood helping in my family’s garden at my Great Grandparent’s property in Elkridge, Maryland where we grew most of the fruits and vegetables our family enjoyed.  When I wasn’t playing in the dirt, I was on the water with my Great Aunt and cousins in Chincoteague, VA where I developed a love for fishing, clamming, crabbing, sunshine of course the beach!  I have a vast background in customer service, financial management, administrative support, and most of all I love to help people understand and get the most out of everything available to them. After being exposed to Human Resources while working for a small financial management company, I knew that was my true calling and decided to change directions and pursue a degree in Human Resources instead of Accounting.  My husband and I currently reside in Bowley’s Quarters, Maryland and have four grown children and one in elementary school.  I love to garden, cook, and read but most days from March to October I can be found in my own vegetable garden or preserving the fruits of my labor.  I love all things nature so anything that takes me outside with my daughter for “play-time” makes me happy.
