Our Team

Sean Bodnar

BioWall Division Manager

I joined the Furbish BioWall team in 2019. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Connecticut State University in Environmental Earth Science with a concentration in Sustainability and a minor in Environmental Health Science. Originally from Watertown, CT I moved down to Baltimore. Before this role, I worked at one of the largest mail-order nurseries in the country as an assistant greenhouse grower. My connection to nature started at a young age with Cub Scouts which later advanced me to Boy Scouts, where I hold the highest achievement of Eagle Scout. My education at a Vocational Agriculture school focusing on Conservation and Natural Resource Management and my six seasons of horticultural work drew me to a company like Furbish. When I am not at work I can be found cooking and trying new foods, enjoying craft ciders, creating with Photoshop, hiking, rock and mineral collecting, or doing macro photography.

If I retired tomorrow

I would become a full-time beekeeper.

My favorite mineral is

Fluorite

My side hustle is

I restore historical tanks for a popular WWII video game.

Furbish cultivates remarkable experiences by bringing nature into the built environment, enriching lives, and helping you make the world greener.
