In May 2021, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Economics and minors in Women’s and Gender Studies and Creative Writing. I joined Venture For America, a two-year fellowship program for entrepreneurs, as a class of 2021 Fellow where I was equipped with the resources to build success within startups. I stumbled upon Furbish throughout my Match process, and immediately, I knew I wanted to join the firm. After growing up in the construction industry, I saw first-hand how new developments can negatively impact the local community and environments. Innovation and restoration is deeply needed in our current climate, and that’s exactly what Furbish aims to do. I fell in love with the constant, daily vision to restore nature into the built environment and enrich the lives of not only our customers, but the planet itself. Prior to Furbish, I worked in the Sustainable Retail, Interior Design, and Investment Real Estate industries as a Digital Marketer for 4+ years. Beyond work, you can find me writing poetry, listening to true crime podcasts, finding the next best hiking spot, or enjoying a good local beer. While I am a North Carolinian at heart, I am excited to learn more about Baltimore and call it my new home!
I lived in a van for a month and travelled across the US
